Barddas really does seem to reflect these ideas, doesn't it? I need to talk to someone who has a better handle on Iolo's intellectual influences. He was a Welsh nationalist, but it seems likely enough that, as he was searching out the roots of the Celtic tradition, he would have read the medieval Irish theologian John Scotus Eriugena. You can draw a line directly from Proclus to Eriugena, and if Iolo was reading his work, from Proclus to Barddas.
