Well sort of, but remember that in the context of the post I was talking about those theologians that laid the foundations for the tradition and who knew the pagan form of Platonism from direct experience. I guess I ought to learn something about what the larger Protestant denominations teach on the subject-- remember that I didn't grow up either in a Protestant congregation or in a Protestant part of the country, so I don't really have their ideas floating around in my mind like a lot of people do.
