Oh and I also meant to mention that I recall seeing images of little girls dressed as St. Lucy from my childhood and we left shoes out for St. Nick to fill as well - my stepmother‘s side of the family had some Scandinavian influence - but I never was trusted to put nine candles on my head by myself nor make early coffee for my parents! (they also used to call me Grace as a joke, I’m sure these two facts are completely unrelated)
