We went to vespers for St. Nicholas yesterday, and the kids put out their shoes last night. Lo, this morning, the shoes were filled with foil-covered chocolate coins and sundry little gifts :)
I have a sneaking suspicion that my kids like St. Nicholas day better than Christmas, in some respects. It's less stressful.
