For what it's worth, in my experience, some Christian denominations bear fruit, and others simply don't. Mainstream Protestantism is more or less a shell, but Pentecostalism and the Charismatic churches are flourishing. Mainstream Catholicism is as empty as Protestantism, but traditional and Latin Rite churches are growing. And the American Orthodox (it's not called that, but it will be eventually) subculture is also flourishing.
I have a suspicion that the Independent Sacramental Movement has a lot of energy in it, but I don't know, as I haven't encountered it directly-- yet. But I'm going to be ordained to the subdiaconate in the Holy Celtic Church International on Saturday, so I'll be able to give a report next week!
