I'm not sure how I feel about the astral body = the soul. I don't know how to parse that.
But a lot of what you say here jibes with Orthodox thought amazingly well. Sometimes these discussions are like... it's like listening to a foreigner describe something familiar, in another language. The words are all different, but the object is clearly the same.
