Maybe, but we're not talking about "a God" but "God." The theological language tends to cloud our judgment, with polytheists claiming only to believe in "Gods, not God," and members of monotheistic faiths assigning the qualities of "a God" to "God." But consider the difference between "a being" and "Being Itself," "a life" and "Life Itself," "a mind" and "Mind Itself."
