Great series of posts and a lot of good red meat to chew on. In reference to this last post in particular, I’ve seen some old Druid revival authors reference Jesus Christ as “The Grand Archdruid” and “The greatest Druid”. I’m inclined to see him that way myself as a Green Christ. Also, loved your choice of picture to this post; Cernunnos the great teacher of the earth and its mysteries. To my mind, sitting in meditation amongst the animals of the earth and forest showing us that they and the earth are holy and worthy of meditation and reflection to learn from. Also ironically in my meditations on this image and using it as a god form, the image of Him holding the snake in peace and subduing it is representative of subduing the passions through meditative practice and reflection.
