Thank you for this. Violet makes a good point here. I think she's taking the idea of internal warfare too literally, and missing the fact that it's not the same as a violent struggle-- on the other hand, if one does take it that way, then freezing oneself in an endless, unwinnable internal fight is exactly the result.
